但以理1:8-1:21
1. 但以理是一個有目的的立志
A. 但以理的目的在他的心裡
但以理卻立志、不以王的膳、和王所飲的酒、玷污自己、所以求太監長容他不玷污自己。 神使但以理在太監長眼前蒙恩惠、受憐憫(但1:8-9)
But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the
royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to
defile himself this way. Daniel 1:9 God had given the chief official great
respect for Daniel. (Daniel 1:8-9)
B. 我們須要有人生目的
你們要先求他的國、和他的義．這些東西都要加給你們了。 (太 6:33)
所以求你賜我智慧、可以判斷你的民、能辨別是非不然、誰能判斷這眾多的民呢。(王上 3:9)
"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness”
(Mt 6:33)
Give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish
between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”
(1Kings 3:9)
2. 但以理是一個有原則的人
A. 他拒絕妥協他的原則
但以理卻立志、不以王的膳、和王所飲的酒、玷污自己、所以求太監長容他不玷污自己。 (但 1:8)
但以理在王面前回答說、你的贈品可以歸你自己你的賞賜可以歸給別人我卻要為王讀這文字、把講解告訴王。 (但 5:17)
Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal
food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile
himself in this way. (Dan 1:8)
Then Daniel answered the king, “You may keep your gifts for yourself and give
your rewards to someone else. Nevertheless, I will read the writing for the king
and tell him what it means. (Dan 5:17)
但以理知道這禁令蓋了玉璽、就到自己家裏、（他樓上的窗戶、開向耶路撒冷）一日三次、雙膝跪在他 神面前、禱告感謝、與素常一樣。(但 6:10)
when Daniel learned that the decree had been
published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened towards
Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks
to his God, just as he had done before. (Daniel 6:10)
B. 我們要成為他人的榜樣
你們該效法我、像我效法基督一樣。 (林前 11:1)
你真願意成為但以理為主守真道
And you should follow my example, just as I follow
Christ.(1Co 11:1)
3. 但以理是個聖潔的人
A. 他的對手都無法找到他的錯
大利烏隨心所願、立一百二十個總督、治理通國。又在他們以上立總長三人、（但以理在其中）使總督在他們三人面前回覆事務、免得王受虧損。因這但以理有美好的靈性、所以顯然超乎其餘的總長和總督、王又想立他治理通國。那時總長和總督、尋找但以理誤國的把柄、為要參他•只是鉹?戎L的錯誤過失、因他忠心辦事、毫無錯誤過失。

administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds
for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were
unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was
trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. (Daniel 6:1-4)
B. 基督徒應有聖潔的行為
不可叫人小看你年輕．總要在言語、行為、愛心、信心、清潔上、都作信徒的榜樣。(提前 4:12)
我願男人無忿怒、無爭論、舉起聖潔的手、隨處禱告。 (提前 2:8)
你真願意成為但以理為主聖潔
set an example for the believers in speech, in life,
in love, in faith and in purity. (I Timothy 4:12)
I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or
disputing. (I Timothy 2:8)
4. 但以理是個禱告的人
A. 但以理是個有禱告生活的人
但以理知道這禁令蓋了玉璽、就到自己家裏、（他樓上的窗戶、開向耶路撒冷）一日三次、雙膝跪在他 神面前、禱告感謝、與素常一樣。 (但 6:10)

雙膝跪在 神面前
他獻上感謝

He prayed three times a day
He knelt in prayer humility.
He gave thanks gratitude.
His prayers were a custom act
B. 我們基督徒應該學習但以理為我們的榜樣
要常常喜樂。不住的禱告．凡事謝恩．因為這是 神在基督耶穌裏向你們所定的旨意。(帖前 5:16-18)
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all
circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thes. 5:16-18)
