royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to
defile himself this way. Daniel 1:9 God had given the chief official great

Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal
food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile

your rewards to someone else. Nevertheless, I will read the writing for the king
and tell him what it means. (Dan 5:17)

for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were
unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was
trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. (Daniel 6:1-4)
