亞比該 Abigail
亞比該是一個有才德的婦人
一. 丈夫的冠冕
才德的婦人、是丈夫的冠冕•貽羞的婦人、如同朽爛在他丈夫的骨中。 (箴 12:4)
A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like
decay in his bones. (Pr. 12:4)
冠冕有三種功用
1.保護(撒上 25:34) (I Sa. 25:34)
2.榮耀(箴 19:14) (箴 31:29) (Pr. 19:14) (Pr. 31:29)
3.身分 (地位) (詩 8:5) (箴 14:18) (Ps. 8:5) (Pr. 14:18)
二. 亞比該美麗又有見識
亞比該不只是美麗且有見識，當她聽見僕人的報告就知有事要發生，
更知事不遲疑，馬上備馬預備吃及禮物一路迎上大衛，亞比該見大衛、便急忙下驢、在大衛面前臉伏於地、叩拜•(撒上 25:23)
When Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her donkey and bowed down before
David with her face to the ground. (I Sa. 25:23)
丈夫是牛脾氣死性不改(撒上 25:25-26) (I Sa. 25:25-26)
我們看她怎樣做：
(1)雖然她是沒有錯的，但是她卻把一切的錯處都歸咎於自己的身上。(撒上 25:24) (I Sa. 25:24)
(2)她為大衛帶來了禮物。那些食物本來是拿八應該送給大衛的，因為他的吝嗇所以現在亞比該代替他送給大衛。(撒上 25:18,27) (I Sa.
25:18,27)
(3)她又使大衛息怒，不致釀成大錯，使大衛有更美好的前途（26）(撒上 25:26) (I Sa. 25:26)。
(4)懇求饒恕(28) (撒上 25:28a) (I Sa. 25:28)求你饒恕婢女的罪過•
(5)反而祝福大衛 •(撒上 25:28b-30) (I Sa. 25:28-30)
(6)深知大衛被神保守就說:
雖有人起來追逼你、尋索你的性命、你的性命卻在耶和華你的 神那裏蒙保護、如包裹寶器一樣•你仇敵的性命、耶和華必拋去、如用機弦甩石一樣。 (撒上 25:29)
Even though someone is pursuing you to take your life, the life of my master
will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the LORD your God. But the
lives of your enemies he will hurl away as from the pocket of a sling. (I Sa.
25:29)
三. 亞比該有信心更有遠見
亞比該大可用美人計，但她是一個有見識又端莊，所以用口才與智慧把大衛說服，但卻更有遠見
亞比該迎見大衛是技巧的一種典範。她對待他像一個王，且肯定他會作王。她消除丈夫的行動，使之不重要，方法是很技巧的。她說出拿八名字的雙關語，其一可作『愚頑』，好像說：『像他那樣的人，會給人什麼好處？』（撒上
25:25）
May my lord pay no attention to that wicked man Nabal. He is just like his
name--his name is Fool, and folly goes with him. But as for me, your servant, I
did not see the men my master sent. (I Sa. 25:25)
亞比該明白自己的話，更知神撿選大衛為王，但此時的大衛不過是流浪的喪家狗，但拿八死後，大衛差人來接亞比該，亞比該一句話也沒有說，就跟大衛一起過流浪的生活，大衛的僕人到了迦密見亞比該、對他說、大衛打發我們來見你、想要娶你為妻。亞比該就起來、俯伏在地、說、我情願作婢女、洗我主僕人的腳。亞比該立刻起身、騎上驢、帶五個使女、跟從大衛的使者去了、就作了大衛的妻。（撒上
25:40-42）
His servants went to Carmel and said to Abigail, "David has sent us to you to
take you to become his wife." She bowed down with her face to the ground and
said, "Here is your maidservant, ready to serve you and wash the feet of my
master's servants." Abigail quickly got on a donkey and, attended by her five
maids, went with David's messengers and became his wife. (I Sa. 25:40-42)
