與神關係的四步驟：
The four essential steps relationship with God
認罪 confession
認罪是與神的第一步，而誠實卻是其中最重要的元素。
我們若認自己的罪、 神是信實的、是公義的、必要赦免我們的罪、洗淨我們一切的不義。(約一 1:9)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins
and purify us from all unrighteousness. (I Jn. 1:9)
2 求你將我的罪孽洗除淨盡，並潔除我的罪！ 3 因為，我知道我的過犯；我的罪常在我面前。 4 我向你犯
罪，惟獨得罪了你；在你眼前行了這惡，以致你責備我的時候顯為公義，判斷我的時候顯為清正。(詩
51:2-4)
2 Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. 3 For I recognize my
rebellion; it haunts me day and night. 4 Against you, and you alone, have I
sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight. You will be proved right in
what you say, and your judgment against me is just. (Psalm 51:2-4)
悔改 Repentance
悔改就是轉離罪，與罪完全的隔離。我與罪完全無關，我們離棄罪而轉向神。悔改使我們完全改變我們的
生命及我們人生的目標。
悔改的原文 meta-noe‘o 本意是思想轉變，心意回轉。
10 你們赦免誰，我也赦免誰。我若有所赦免的，是在基督面前為你們赦免的 (林後 2:10)
10 When you forgive this man, I forgive him, too. And when I forgive
whatever needs to be forgiven, I do so with Christ’s authority for your
benefit, (2 Corinthians 2:10)
信心 Believing
不只是真實的認罪與悔改，更要有對神的信心。
1. )當我們認罪時，覺得那只不過是雞毛蒜皮的小事(過犯)，不需大費周章勞駕神，所以下次改進，更何況神忙得不得了。

)另一種情況是罪實在是大到無可就藥，就算我們認罪也不覺得神應該赦免我們，罪抓住我們的心思意念，我們本身無法勝過我們的罪惡感，也就無法相信神會赦免我們所犯的過錯。
但我們一定要相信神是信實，必赦免我們一切罪。
他為我們捨了自己、要贖我們脫離一切罪惡、又潔淨我們、特作自己的子民、熱心為善。(多 2:14)
who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for
himself a people that are his very
own, eager to do what is good. (Tit. 2:14)
6 人非有信，就不能得神的喜悅；因為到神面前來的人必須信有神，且信他賞賜那尋求他的人。(來 11:6)
6 And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come
to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely
seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)
完全的順服 Obedience
當我們得著神的恩典時，就可能有三個危機。
1. )是覺得神的救恩，必須靠我們的好行為來維持。
2. )是覺得要繼續蒙神垂愛，就必須有所作為與成就。
3. )是覺得既然蒙神垂愛，就可以胡作非為，反正罪可以得赦免，更何況神說: 赦免我們過去現在將來的罪。
萬軍之耶和華說、不是倚靠勢力、不是倚靠才能、乃是倚靠我的靈、方能成事。 (撒迦利亞 4:6)
