愛是恆久忍耐、又有恩慈．愛是不嫉妒．愛是不自誇．不張狂．不作害羞的事．不求自己的益處．不輕易發怒．不計算人的惡．不喜歡不義．只喜歡真理．凡事包容．凡事相信．凡事盼望．凡事忍耐。 (林前 13:4-7)

 

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (I Co. 13:4-7)

 

  1. 基督徒需明白神給我們足夠的能力，作神所交托我們的每一件事。
    我靠凓那加給我力量的、凡事都能作。(腓 4:13)
    I can do everything through him who gives me strength. (Phil. 4:13)

  2. 基督徒必須很小心自己的先見(主見)，因它可以導致福音的扭曲或被接受。

  3. 基督徒必須記得神的愛是無條件，雖然有時我們無法看見馬上的成效。

  4. 基督徒必須記得神愛我們如同愛基督。
    我已將你的名指示他們、還要指示他們、使你所愛我的愛在他們裏面、我也在他們裏面。 (約 17:26)
    I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them." (John 17:26)

  5. 基督徒要有信心接受神的管教因為他的管教也是出於愛。 (希 Heb. 12:7-12)
    As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? 8 If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all. 9 Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn’t we submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live forever? 10 For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God’s discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. 11 No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. 12 So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. 13 Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong. (Heb. 12:7-12)

  6. 基督徒要明白神愛我們從頭到腳，甚至在我們未出生時神已經愛我們。 我未成形的體質、你的眼早已看見了•你所定的日子、我尚未度一日、〔或作我被造的肢體尚未有其一〕你都寫在你的冊上了。 (詩 139:16)
    your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:16)

  7. 基督徒我們可以很自信，因我們是主手中的工作，神絕沒有做他不喜悅的在我們身上。 我們原是他的工作、在基督耶穌裏造成的、為要叫我們行善、就是　神所豫備叫我們行的。 (弗 2:10)
    For we are God‘s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Eph. 2:10)

  8. 基督徒不應該只看生命中的困苦艱難，因為所有發生的事都是神所允許。雅各書更告訴我們接受我們所面對的試鍊，因為神要藉此磨練我們好讓我們更像基督的樣式。 不管你的前半生是如何或何種樣子的人，當你接受主耶穌成為你的救主，在主裡你就是新造的人。 若有人在基督裏、他就是新造的人．舊事已過、都變成新的了。(林後 5:17)
    Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (II Co. 5:17)

  9. 每個基督徒必須學習認知，自己的才華恩賜及神的呼召，否則我們總會模仿別人服侍神，而不知自己應該如何蒙神喜悅。 我憑凓所賜我的恩、對你們各人說、不要看自己過於所當看的．要照　神所分給各人信心的大小、看得合乎中道。 (羅 12:3)
    For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. (Rom. 12:3)

  10. 基督徒的軟弱，更可以看為是神給我們機會，要賜給我們更多力量，軟弱有時更能成為別人的幫助。 他對我說、我的恩典夠你用的．因為我的能力、是在人的軟弱上顯得完全．所以我更喜歡誇自己的軟弱、好叫基督的能力覆庇我 ． (林後 12:9)
    But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. (II Co. 12:9,10)

  11. 誰沒有軟弱？
    1). 左撇子又如何？
    以色列人呼求耶和華的時候、耶和華就為他們興起一位拯救者、就是便雅憫人基拉的兒子以笏、他是左手便利的•以色列人託他送禮物給摩押王伊磯倫。 (士 3:15)
    The Israelites cried out to the LORD, and he gave them a deliverer--Ehud, a left-handed man, the son of Gera the Benjamite. 2).The Israelites sent him with tribute to Eglon king of Moab. (Jdg. 3:15)
    趕牛的又怎麼樣？ 以笏之後、有亞拿的兒子珊迦、他用趕牛的棍子打死六百非利士人、他也救了以色列人。 (士 3:31) After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath, who struck down six hundred Philistines with an oxgoad. He too saved Israel. (Jdg. 3:31)

  12. 不容許撒旦控告你或使你灰心失志使你被試探進入罪中。 不要愛世界、和世界上的事。人若愛世界、愛父的心就不在他裏面了。因為凡世界上的事、就像肉體的情慾、眼目的情慾、並今生的驕傲、都不是從父來的、乃是從世界來的。(壹約 2:15,16)
    Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world. (I John 2:15,16)

  13. 先看自己眼中的樑木，再看別人。基督徒最大的失敗，是不能看見自己的缺點並接受自己的軟弱。 你們不要論斷人、免得你們被論斷。因為你們怎樣論斷人、也必怎樣被論斷。你們用甚麼量器量給人、也必用甚麼量器量給你們。(太 7:1,2)
    "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. (Matt. 7:1,2)

  14. 不要害怕神要你做的事，是你沒有能力完成的工作。 我們又藉凓他、因信得進入現在所站的這恩典中、並且歡歡喜喜盼望　神的榮耀。 (羅 5:2)
    whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. (Ro. 5:2)

  15. 在主裡學著接受自己，也學著接受別人。 所以你們要彼此接納、如同基督接納你們一樣、使榮耀歸與　神。 (羅 15:7)
    Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. (Rom. 15:7)
