我們基督徒在神面前應有的態度
A.勸老年人、要有節制、端莊、自守、在信心愛心忍耐上、都要純全無疵。
Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. (Tit. 2:2)

老年人當然比較少年人有節制、端莊、自守；同時在信心、愛心、忍耐上也更為長進。

可能有些老年人因為自己老了，以為比少年人更有長進了，就忽略了老年人應有之操守；倚老賣老，不知節制，以自己所經歷過的為足，停止了長進。

B.勸老年婦人、舉止行動要恭敬、不說讒言、不給酒作奴僕、用善道教訓人． (多 2:2-3)
Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. (Tit. 2:3)

本節原文有「照樣」（ho{sautos）未譯出，即「又照樣勸」。

舉止行動要恭敬，原文由「聖」與「合宜」二字合成，所以此「恭敬」是對神敬虔，對人端莊之態度，不是指晚輩恭敬長輩那種意思。

「讒言」就是一些沒有什麼根據的誹謗話。老年婦人受教育的程度不高，閒來無事，很容易聽信流言，便誹謗中傷他人。

「不給酒作奴僕」，當時有些老婦好酒。

「將善道教訓人」，不是指道理方面的事，乃是指一般生活上的善行善德。

好指教少年婦人、愛丈夫、愛兒女、謹守、貞潔、料理家務、待人有恩、順服自己的丈夫、免得　神的道理被毀謗。(多 2:4-5)
Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. (Tit. 2:4-5)

老婦人有了先前這些德行後，才可以指教家中少年的婦女如何愛丈夫、愛兒女，遵守婦道，料理家務，作個賢妻良母。

C.勸少年人要謹守．你自己凡事要顯出善行的榜樣、在教訓上要正直、端莊、言語純全、無可指責、叫那反對的人、既無處可說我們的不是、便自覺羞愧。(多 2:6-8)
Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. (Tit. 2:6-8)

1.凡事要顯出善行的榜樣，少年人必須有好榜樣，單憑教導並不能夠使他們折服。
2.教訓上要正直、端莊，少年人情感易衝動，缺乏自制力和判斷力，所以要勸他「謹守」，但必須在「教訓上正直端莊」，不存偏見，公正坦直，不輕浮，才可以領導人在靈性上長進。

3.言語純全、無可指責，傳道人主要的職事是為神說話，所以我們的嘴唇必要潔淨。
4.叫那反對的人、既無處可說我們的不是

a.忠心的傳道人和一切敬虔度日的信徒，都必會招惹人的嫉恨反對；所以我們應當隨時準備受人的反對，且要把人的反對看作是分內的事，不以為怪。
b.怎樣應付人的反對？最好的方法不是用申辯或反擊，乃是用真實而聖潔的生活見證來答覆。對方既發現他們所挑剔的與事實不符，「便自覺羞愧」。
警語
你該知道、末世必有危險的日子來到。因為那時人要專顧自己、貪愛錢財、自誇、狂傲、謗讟、違背父母、忘恩負義、心不聖潔、無親情、不解怨、好說讒言、不能自約、
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control,

性情兇暴、不愛良善、賣主賣友、任意妄為、自高自大、愛宴樂不愛　神．有敬虔的外貌、卻背了敬虔的實意．這等人你要躲開。(提後 3:1-5)
brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. (I Ti. 3:1-5)

心中坦然見主面我們的良心是否對我們說話
1.我們的心若責備我們、　神比我們的心大、一切事沒有不知道的。(約一 3:20)
whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. (I Jn. 3:20)

2. 親愛的弟兄阿、我們的心若不責備我們、就可以向　神坦然無懼了．(約一 3:21)
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God. (I Jn 3:21)
因此
我們一切所求的、就從他得凓．因為我們遵守他的命令、行他所喜悅的事。 (約一 3:22)
and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. (I Jn. 3:22)

那時敬畏耶和華的彼此談論‧耶和華側耳而聽、且有紀念冊在他面前、記錄那敬畏耶和華思念他名的人。 (瑪 3:16)

Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name. (Mal. 3:16)
