讀　　經：彼得前書4章7-11節
(New living translation)

 7 The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. 8 Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay.

10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 11 Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

7 萬物的結局近了。所以，你們要謹慎自守，儆醒禱告。
8 最要緊的是彼此切實相愛，因為愛能遮掩許多的罪。
9 你們要互相款待，不發怨言。
10 各人要照所得的恩賜彼此服事，作神百般恩賜的好管家。
11 若有講道的，要按著神的聖言講；若有服事人的，要按著神所賜的力量服事，叫神在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。原來榮耀、權能都是他的，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

　　 你是否曾為了買13分錢一加侖的汽油而排長隊？在麻薩諸塞州的人們的確這樣做過。那天，在加油站開門前兩個小時，沿著12號公路旁有上百輛的汽車大排長龍。加油站的老闆在廣告上說：這種價格實際是將他的汽油當作禮物送出，因為他想給他的顧客一個最低價格。

Have you once bought a gasoline of 13 cents per gallon by standing in a long line? People in Massachusetts indeed have done this. That day, Before the first two hours opening the gate of gas station, there were hundred automobiles lining up along the 12th highway. The boss of gas station said in the advertisement , "This kind of price actually treats his gasoline as the gift to send out, because he wants to give the lowest price to his customer."

　　在彼得前書第四章裡，使徒寫到一種體現出贈與者慷慨的禮物，那就是「上帝百般的恩賜」（10節）。恩典不是應該得到的恩惠，而是從主那裡白白得來的仁慈。我們不僅從他赦免的恩惠體驗到他的恩典，同時也從他給我們能按他的心願生活的精力與智慧中表現出來。
　

In the I Peter 4, the Apostle writes one kind of the generous gift coming from the giver, that is "the God's great variety of spiritual gifts." (10) Grace is not a kindness which should obtain, but is the benevolence which comes from God freely. We are not only from his absolvent grace experiencing his kindness, but also display life energy and wisdom coming from God which are able to stand on his will.

　　接受並使用這個禮物是有影響的意義，它給我們和他人都帶來祝福。但最重要的是，它榮耀了贈與者的名字與仁慈。彼得激勵他的讀者要藉著警醒地禱告，通過愛心、友誼和上帝的話語去傳道，以此來傳達上帝的恩典。（7-11節）

To accept and use this gift have the influential significance, it gives the blessing to both of us and the other people. But the most important, it glories Giver's name and benevolent. Peter encourages his reader by praying vigilantly, through the compassion, the friendship and God's words to preach in order to convey God's grace. (7-11)

　　13分錢一加侖的汽油實在便宜，幾乎就是贈送！但上帝給我們服事他的恩典是完全不收費，是絕對的贈送。它超過這世上所提供的任何東西，而且只要你開口請求就可以得到。
　

A gasoline of 13 cents per gallon is indeed cheap, it is nearly free gift! But God giving us his grace by serving him is completely free, not to pay any money. It surpasses any thing which this world can provide, moreover so long as you open the mouth to request you may obtain.

 
上帝把他的恩典白白地賜給所有那些倚靠他言語的人，
因為他們已經知曉他無限供給的秘密。

God gives his grace without charge for the persons who lean on his word,

Because they already know his secrets which are infinite supplies.

默想：唯一限制上帝恩典的是我們加諸上去的極限。

Meditation: Only limits God's grace is that we adds various limitations.
