9月16日──永恆的價值 Eternal value

Teaching about Giving to the Needy
“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you
will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. 2 When you give to someone in
need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and
streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they
have received all the reward they will ever get. 3 But when you give to someone
in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4 Give
your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
Teaching about Prayer and Fasting
5 “When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on
street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the
truth, that is all the reward they will ever get. 6 But when you pray, go away
by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then
your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
7 “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They
think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and
again. 8 Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even
before you ask him! 9 Pray like this:
Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
10 May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today the food we need,
12 and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
13 And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.
14 “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive
you. 15 But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your
sins.
16 “And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try
to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I
tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. 17 But when you
fast, comb your hair and wash your face. 18 Then no one will notice that you are
fasting, except your Father, who knows what you do in private. And your Father,
who sees everything, will reward you.

你們要小心，不可將善事行在人的面前，故意叫他們看見，若是這樣，就不能得你們天父的賞賜了。
2 所以，你施捨的時候，不可在你面前吹號，像那假冒為善的人在會堂裡和街道上所行的，故意要得人的榮耀。我實在告訴你們，他們已經得了他們的賞賜。
3 你施捨的時候，不要叫左手知道右手所做的，
4要叫你施捨的事行在暗中。你父在暗中察看，必然報答你（有古卷：必在明處報答你）。
5 你們禱告的時候，不可像那假冒為善的人，愛站在會堂裡和十字路口上禱告，故意叫人看見。我實在告訴你們，他們已經得了他們的賞賜。

你禱告的時候，要進你的內屋，關上門，禱告你在暗中的父；你父在暗中察看，必然報答你。
7 你們禱告，不可像外邦人，用許多重複話，他們以為話多了必蒙垂聽。
8 你們不可效法他們；因為你們沒有祈求以先，你們所需用的，你們的父早已知道了。
9 所以，你們禱告要這樣說：我們在天上的父：願人都尊你的名為聖。
10 願你的國降臨；願你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上。
11 我們日用的飲食，今日賜給我們。
12 免我們的債，如同我們免了人的債。
13不叫我們遇見試探；救我們脫離兇惡（或作：脫離惡者）。因為國度、權柄、榮耀，全是你的，直到永遠。阿們（有古卷沒有因為……阿們等字）！
14 你們饒恕人的過犯，你們的天父也必饒恕你們的過犯；
15 你們不饒恕人的過犯，你們的天父也必不饒恕你們的過犯。
16你們禁食的時候，不可像那假冒為善的人，臉上帶著愁容；因為他們把臉弄得難看，故意叫人看出他們是禁食。我實在告訴你們，他們已經得了他們的賞賜。
17 你禁食的時候，要梳頭洗臉，
18 不叫人看出你禁食來，只叫你暗中的父看見；你父在暗中察看，必然報答你。
金 句：「無論做什麼，都要從心裡做，像是給主做的……知道從主那裡必得著基業為賞賜。」（ 歌羅西書3章23－24節)
23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord
rather than for people. 24 Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance
as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.
自然科學家施羅德（Gerald Schroeder）的一個朋友兼同事正在慶祝六十歲生日。當他想到他的年齡，他意識到他生命中的一大半時間已經過去，不由的情緒低落。幾十年來他在第三世界國家幫助農民，他的努力使得成千上萬的民眾免於飢餓之苦，這令他十分自豪。但是現在他渴望一個更有意義的、超越時空的感覺。他知道雖然科學完成了使上百萬的人們生活品質得以改善的奇跡，但卻不能滿足靈魂的飢渴。他因此開始找尋內在的平安。
Natural scientist Gerald Schroeder whose friend and colleague was celebrating
the 60th birthday. When he thought his age, he realized in his life that most of
the time had already gone, so his mood was low unwillingly. For several ten
years he had helped farmer in third world country, his hard work caused the tens
of thousands of people avoiding pain of the hunger, this made him extremely to
be proud. But now he longed for significant the feeling which surmounted space
and time. He knew although the science had completed the miracle that the
quality of living for million people might improve, but actually could not
satisfy the hunger of the soul. Therefore he started to pursue the intrinsic
peace.
耶穌告訴我們，若要發現永恆的意義和價值，我們必須認識上帝，並為他而活。贏得他人讚賞的好行為並沒有最終的價值；但是若以上帝為念去做好事，就會帶來永恆的獎賞（馬太福音6章1－18節）。即使是遞一杯涼水的小事，若是奉他的名而做，也會有永恆的價值（馬可福音9章41節）
Jesus tells us, if we want to discover the significance and value of the eternity, we must know God and lives for him. To win good behavior which the other people appreciates certainly is not final value ; But if you do good deed for the sake of God that can bring the eternal reward. (Matthew 6:1 - 18). Even the minor matter to hand over a cup of cold water , if you do it in His name, it may also have the eternal value. (Matthew 9:41).
你渴望那永生的價值嗎？如果是，首先要信靠耶穌，把他當成你個人的救主，然後奉他的名去做每一件事。你若做到這點，有一天你將站會在他面前，聽他表揚你，並給你永生的獎賞。
Are you longing for that value of eternity? If is, firstly you have to rely on
Jesus, and regard Him as your personal Savior, then do everything in His name.
If you have done this, one day you will stand in front of him, listening to
praise you from Him, and giving you the eternal reward.
假如你正在尋求價值，
假如你覺得生命失落，
快轉向主基督信靠他，
永遠為他的獎賞而活。
If you are seeking the value,
If you feel the lost life,
Quickly turn to Christ and rely on him,
To live forever for His reward.
人生如梭，轉眼成空。只有為基督所做的會存留。
Life like shuttle, it becomes empty in an instant time. Only the works for Christ can preserve.
