1-27-2008── 身價多少？ How much worth do you have ?

金　　句：「惟有基督在我們還作罪人的時候為我們死，上帝的愛就在此向我們顯明瞭。」（羅馬書5：8）

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

　　有一位棒球選手簽下一份年薪高達八百萬美元的合約時，他大言不慚地宣稱自己的身價值這麼多。真是難以理解，怎麼會有人覺得自己打六個月的球就可以值這麼多錢。

A baseball player signed a salary as high as 8 million US dollars contract, he claimed boastfully that his worth owned so much. It is really hard to understand, how someone only plays six month-long ball can worth so much money.

然而從另一方面來說，這位富裕的選手真的有八百萬的身價，甚至更多。不過這不是因為他的技術，而是因為上帝的愛在我們每個人身上所賦予的價值。想想上帝是多麼看重我們這些照他形像所造的人，他甚至還差耶穌來為我們受難而死，我們的身價當然比八百萬美元更高。

However from the other hand, this wealthy player is really worth 8 million, and even more. But this is not because of his skill, but because this value is given by the love of God in each one of us. Think about how God pays much attention to us who are made according to his image, and he even also sent Jesus to suffer and die for us, so our value is certainly higher than 8 million US dollars.

我們時常以賺多少錢或有什麼頭銜來估算自己的身價。或是用做了哪些重要的事來衡量自己。其實，我們應該明白自己的價值是上帝所給予的，而這價值是出於兩項事實：上帝照他的形像創造了我們（創世記1：27），以及上帝愛世人，甚至差他的愛子耶穌來世上為我們死（羅馬書5：8）。

We often estimate our value by how much we earn, what title we own, or what important things we do. In fact, we should understand our own values are given by God, and these values are from two facts: "God created man in his own image" (Genesis 1:27), and "God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

這使我們每一個人都擁有遠超過八百萬美元的身價。當上帝透過他的兒子來看我們時，你無法以價碼來標示我們的身價！我願到處宣揚主救贖，羔羊的血將我洗淨； 因他無限憐憫和恩慈，永遠稱為天父兒女。我們的價值不在於擁有的，而在於我們屬於誰。

This makes value of us have far more than 8 million US dollars. When God sees us through His son, you can not label our values by price tag! I would like to spread the salvation everywhere, and the blood of the lamb cleans me; Because of his unlimited mercy and kindness, we are called forever as the sons and daughters of the Father. Our values do not depend on how much we own, but lie in who we belong to.
