12月16日── 祂的名 His name
 
金　　句：「他們到了所去的列國，就使我的聖名被褻瀆。」（以西結書36章20節）

But when they were scattered among the nations, they brought shame on my holy name. (Ezekiel 36:20)

凡是要爭取顧客的公司，都知道保護自己的名聲的重要。粗劣的商品及差勁的服務會使公司的利潤一落千丈。

Any company has to fight for the customers, knows the important to protect his reputation. The poor goods and the bad services can cause company's profit to suffer a disastrous decline.
 
　　在一次旅行中，我目睹了一家租車公司災難性的顧客服務。當人們到租車櫃檯取鑰匙時，要面對排長龍，無禮的服務員以及種種的不便。顧客們的反應可想而知－－不滿和憤怒。我猜想大多數顧客再也不會到這家公司租車了。這家公司的名聲成了一個笑柄。

In a travel, I witnessed a disastrous customer service of a car rental company. When people took the keys at car rental counters, had to face long queues, rude attendants, as well as all kinds of inconvenience. One can imagine the customers' response - resentment and anger. I suspect that the majority customers will not arrive at this company to rent a car again. This company's reputation has become a laughingstock.
 
　　這令我想起以色列人的行為如何敗壞了上帝的名。他們的生活與那些異教徒的鄰居無異，因此上帝將他們分散在列國。不信的人不僅嘲笑以色列人，也嘲笑上帝的名。

This makes me to remember how the Israeli's behaviors to ruin God's name. Their life with these heathen's neighbors are not different, therefore God disperses them in various nations. The unbelievers are not only ridicule the Israeli, also mock God's name.

　　讓我們把這個情形與現代聯繫起來。身為基督徒，我們被賦予了救主耶穌基督的名。世人是如何透過我們去看他的呢？榮耀他的名比維持一個大企業的名聲重要得多。我們的生命實在只有一個目標－－彰顯我們的主。我們必須小心防範任何褻瀆他聖名的行為。教導我們持守那名， 並等待主的來臨。 逃離不潔與罪惡，並躲避一切虛謊。當人們認識你後，他們想要認識基督嗎？

 Let us make this case link with the modern.  As a Christian, we have been given a Savior Jesus Christ's name. How do the common people look at him through us?  The glory of His name is far more important than maintaining a big enterprise's reputation. Our life is only one goal - to manifest our Lord. We must be careful to prevent any behaviors of blaspheming His Holy Name. Teaching us to adhere to that name and wait for the coming of the Lord. Fleeing unclean and evil and evading all other falseness. After the people know you, do they want to know Christ?
