11月4日──為時不晚  It is not too late.
 
金　　句：「當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他，相近的時候求告他。」以賽亞書55：6

Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6)
 
　　有一個老年人團體邀請我為他們演講，我選擇了耶穌對尼哥底母的話「你們必須重生」（約翰福音3章7節）作為演講的主題。

A senior citizen association invited me to lecture for them, I chose Jesus to the Nicodemus's speech "you have to born again" (John 3:7) as lecture's subject.
 
　　當我演講時，我注意到臺下一個年長婦人低垂的臉；演講結束後，在喝茶的當兒，我問她是否獲得了重生？是否已接受了基督和他的救恩？她搖搖低垂的頭回答說，「我還沒有！」，我輕柔地催促她：「你願意現在就接受他嗎？」她無奈難過地說：「恐怕太遲了！」，我馬上回應她說「寧遲勿無！」。

When I gave a speech, I took notice of an old woman in the audience whose face was drooping. After the lecture ended, at the tea time, I asked whether she was born again and accepted Christ and His salvation? She shook hanging head and said , "I do not have!" I gently urge her: "Will you accept him now?" She had no choice but sad to say, "Perhaps it is too late!", I responded her immediately "Rather late than never!".
 
　　她的臉馬上放光，她說：「我過去從沒有這樣看待過這個問題」，之後當我們一起禱告時，這位年長的婦女變成一位在基督裡快樂的新生兒。雖然她在世的時日無多，然而在基督裡她的新生命卻是永恆的。

Her face shone immediately, She said: "In the past, I did not regard this question", Afterwards when we prayed together, this old woman became a joyful newborn baby in Christ. Although her days in the world are limited, however in Christ her new life actually is the eternal.
 
　　這位老婦及時相信上帝的例子提醒我們，上帝仍在我們生命的門外叩門。同時也嚴肅地警告我們，我們也可能會「太遲」了。就像是某人曾說”不要等到最後一刻才願意接受救恩－－因為你可能在最後一刻到來之前死去”。

The example of the old woman who believed in God promptly reminds us, God still knocks at a door in our life gate. At the same time he also seriously warns us, we may be "too late". Like someone once says " Do not wait till last the moment then to be willing to accept salvation - - because you possibly die before last moment arrival ".
 
　　無論你的年紀多大，假如你還未重生，現在就趕快尋求上帝，當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他（以賽亞書55章6節）。今日所擁有的， 非明日的指望； 耶穌要你現在跟隨他 必要相信、且莫耽延。你不可能懺悔得太早，因它很快將演變為太晚。

Regardless of your age, if you are not born again, you should quickly seek God now, "Seek the Lord while you can find him (Isaiah 55:6). Today has, not tomorrow's prospect; Jesus wants you to follow him now. "Have to believe, do not delay." You are not possible to confess too early, because it will quickly evolve into too late.
