11月11日──過去與未來   Past and future.
 
金　　句：「你們每逢吃這餅，喝這杯，是表明主的死，直等到他來。」哥林多前書11章26節
For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again. (1 Corinthians 11:26)
 
　　當我們想想上帝在過去為我們所作的，我們便能夠充滿信心地步入未來。這就象離開埃及前往迦南應許之地的以色列人一樣。

When we think God did for us in the past, then we can be full of confidence to march into the future. This sounds like the Israeli who left Egypt going to Canaan which is the Promised Land.
 
　　在創世紀的最後一章，我們讀到，在約瑟在臨死之際，他要他的弟兄發誓將他的骸骨攜往上帝應許給亞伯拉罕的地方（創世紀50章24－26節）。300多年以後，摩西領著以色列人帶著約瑟的遺骨離開埃及（出埃及記13章19節）。

In Genesis last chapter, we read, Before the point of Joseph's death, he wanted his brother to pledge taking along his skeleton toward God's promise for Abraham's place. (Genesis 50: 24-26).  After more than 300 years, Moses led the Israeli to bring Joseph's remains to leave Egypt (Exodus 13:19).

　　在後來的40年當中，百姓抬著裡面擺著律法的約櫃，以及裝著約瑟遺骸的棺木。其中的遺骸提醒他們的過去，約櫃則指向未來，因為律法指出在應許之地他們與上帝所應建立的關係。藉著約櫃與棺木提醒他們：帶領百姓前進的上帝一直都在關心著他們，這給他們帶來了保證和希望。

During the 40 years afterwards, the common people lifted Ark of the Covenant whose inside was put by Torah as well as the Joseph remains' coffin. In these two objects, Remains reminded their past, and Ark of the Covenant aimed at the future, because the Torah pointed out the relations which were established with God in the Promised Land. By means of Ark of the Covenant and the coffin reminded them: God who led the Israeli going forward continuously cared them and brought them the guarantee and the hope.

　　當我們聚集在一起紀念主餐時，我們這群上帝的子民會有同樣的前途。我們應牢記耶穌為我們而死（哥林多前書11章23－25節），而且我們也滿懷信心地等著他再來（第26節），這永恆的盼望鼓勵我們每天為他而活

When we gather to commemorate the Communion, we, the group of God's people, have the same future. We should keep firmly in mind Jesus to die for us. (1 Corinthians 11:23-25), Moreover we also fill with the faith and wait for his coming again. (26) This eternal hope encourages us to live for him every day.

你是生命之糧，賜我力量， 聖言就是真理，把我拯救； 我願與主同活，在地若天， 教我愛慕真理，因你是愛。當記念基督的死給我們帶來今日的勇氣與明日的盼望

You are the living bread, give me your strength, the Holy word is the truth, save me from the sin; I am willing to live with God, Like in Heaven even if on earth, teaches me to eager for truth, because you are the love. Should commemorate Christ's death which brings us today's courage and tomorrow's hope.
